Leather Aviator Jacket

The leather jacket is a piece that can be worn in many different ways, its one those pieces that have a universal style to it. Meaning it can be worn with a button down and tie or just a plain t-shirt and still maintain the same level of appeal. In the pictures above I chose to play with the elements of hard and soft, the mixture of that combination is something that I like to experiment with often. The combat boots and the jacket have that rough edgy look but is softened up by the texture of the cardigan. Every outfit should tell a story and my inspiration for this one was a modern aviator pilot. I try to buy what i like to call statement pieces, clothes that look great paired with other garments but have the ability to be the focal point of the outfit and look good on its own. Outfits should be like a good book the more you read into it the better it becomes. Even though this look was all about the jacket, without the jacket it would still be a great look. The rest of the outfit consist of a black and white cardigan, a tan military inspired button down and a pair of slim dark denim.
